The&lt;br /&gt;Application Developer is expected to quickly become proficient with the skills&lt;br /&gt;and toolsets in use at the Office of Instructional and Information Technology&lt;br /&gt;(OIIT). This position requires strong problem solving skills, web development&lt;br /&gt;skills, and solid verbal and written communication skills.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Responsibilities Include: 1. Consult with end users to investigate and determine&lt;br /&gt;problems, design proposed solutions, and define specifications and code&lt;br /&gt;applications. 2. Conduct performance analysis of new and/or upgraded systems. 3.&lt;br /&gt;Design, develop, test and maintain application systems. 4. Develop and maintain&lt;br /&gt;documentation for BPS application systems. 5. Develop web-enabled applications&lt;br /&gt;as they relate to improving the existing web infrastructure and integration to&lt;br /&gt;new system 6. Create dynamic reporting solutions using the business intelligence&lt;br /&gt;toolset and MS SQL Reporting Services. 7. Collaborate with developers on new&lt;br /&gt;technologies to improve development environment. 8. Assist with client requests&lt;br /&gt;(regardless of how varied they may be). 9. May be required to assist with&lt;br /&gt;SQL/DTS requests; reporting services, and build user interfaces to SQL stored&lt;br /&gt;procedures.&lt;br /&gt;Qualifications:&lt;br /&gt;Required: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent&lt;br /&gt;experience in application development 2. 4-5 years demonstrated proficiency in&lt;br /&gt;existing or similar technologies in a large public sector organization. 3.&lt;br /&gt;Demonstrated expertise with VB.Net, SQL Programming, and Reporting Services. 4.&lt;br /&gt;Strong organizational and communication skills. 5.
